What You Will Learn:
 

This workshop is designed to provide new Flight Operation Inspectors with a comprehensive understanding of the role of certification process of aviation operations. This workshop explores the various factors that can impact the approval process for flight safety and performance, including interviewing of accountable managers, manual approvals, crew training, teamwork, workload management, and situational awareness. Participants will learn practical strategies to enhance their performance in the application compliance oversight the aviation environment. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and simulations, attendees will gain valuable insights into the initial approving of flight operations and fostering a safety culture.

 
Course description:
 

Upon completion of this workshop, you will be able to:
– Initiation of the Certification Process for the grant of an AOC
– Carry out flight operations inspections related to the issuance of Air Operator Certificate (AOC)
– Special Operations Approvals such as EDTO operations, Dangerous Goods etc.
– ICAO Annex 6 and Doc 8335
– Approval and Acceptance operations manuals and training procedures
– Master Minimum Equipment List (MEL)
– Aircraft Leasing
– Safety Oversight Activities
– Conducting initial Route Checks of operators

The workshop will be delivered through a combination of informative presentations, group discussions, interactive exercises, and case study analysis. Duration:


The workshop is designed to be completed over a span of five consecutive days. Each day will consist of approximately six hours of interactive learning, including breaks for reflection and networking opportunities. The comprehensive curriculum ensures that participants receive in-depth training within a condensed timeframe, allowing them to quickly apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills in their Flight Operations Inspector roles.

Who Should Attend:
 

The workshop is designed for newly appointed Flight Operations Inspectors (FOIs) from the Civil Aviation Authority, aviation safety/quality managers, and aviation operations personnel involved in regulatory compliance. Our training personnel have extensive field and office experience as qualified FOIs, actively auditing and approving airline operations. It could also be advantageous for AOC Nominated Persons, Safety Managers, and Compliance Auditors in aviation
